Besides the talks, there were also various side-discussions. These were not recorded.
The QUIC symposium was a small, one-day community event for all people interested in QUIC and HTTP/3.
The event was mainly intended for academic researchers and students in the vicinity of Hasselt, Belgium. However, everyone with an interest was welcome.
The event had 25 attendees, split over (senior) academics, (master) students and people from industry. You can find a full list and some additional information here.
The QUIC symposium was not an official academic conference and there are no published proceedings.
Instead, we focused on candid discussion on hot topics related to QUIC design and research.
The main available resources are the slides and talk recordings, available above. Most of the decks contain plenty of references to relevant (academic) work.
The event took place on Tuesday 7 May, between 10AM and 6PM, at
Expertise Center for Digital Media (EDM)
Wetenschapspark 2
3590 Diepenbeek, Belgium
Lunch and Flemish pie was provided free of charge.
A group of 11 attendees went for a communal dinner afterwards.
The event was organized by researchers from Hasselt University and RWTH Aachen/Brandenburg University of Technology.
